I never understood how that saying even became popular. I think I've heard a guard say this once in the 100+ hours I played. If anything I would think the sweet roll, curved sword, sick one day, heck even the wolfish grin sayings would be more popular.

I guess that's how memes work. Pick something that doesn't really stand out and push it down peoples throats until they embrace it.
