I actually leveled body guard from 10-25ish

As long as you can keep track of your heat, your pets health, your health, and the enemies health you can put out some damage as well as spam heal your pet.

However, from 25 to 40 (where I am currently) I went dps and it truly is a faster form of leveling espically since Mako can keep you up so well.

make a cookiecutter build, some points in dmg, some in heal. you can respend your points later at specific "towns"
