I am building a new computer and it's been a while since I've built the last one, so I would like to hear some opinions to make sure I am doing the right thing.
Here is what I'm buying. I already have a nice Coolermaster HAF932 case, a OCZ Fatal1ty Series 700W Power Supply, the hard drives (2x500 Gb S-ATA) and a 80Gb SSD for system and chache.
Well I'd look again at the CPU depending on what's it going to be used for. It's great if you use a lot of multithreaded applications and such. If the main use is gaming however you are better off with i5 2500k. Will save you hundred bucks and actually function better in gaming use.
You'll find both Noctua NH-D14 and Thermalright Silver Arrow CPU coolers performing better compared to that Zalman. They are usually cheaper too, depends where you're buying from .
