Can this laptop play Skyrim (+ other similar games)?

The graphics card may not be that good, but i5 Prossecor helps a bit. I would also like to note that i will get this pc 40% off as my brother works at the store. I do not play many video games anymore, but i'd like to try out Skyrim. Hopefully a nice guy here can help me out.

I doubt the game will even run on integrated graphics, so no. You need a dedicated GPU to run modern games; the Intel HD Graphics 3000 chip won't cut it - it's barely enough for full-HD videos and 3D blu-ray.

Why do people think they can play games without a graphics card? Really? Get a computer with a GOOD graphics card also. You can't game on that laptop.
