So here's a quick question, I obtained the item "Pattern: Carapace of Sun and Shadow" a while back and through google found many people wanting to buy it or claiming to have sold it for some fairly large sums.
I'm wondering if it is still considered valuable?
From what I've read it's supposed to be BiS for 70 rogue twinks. Any input appreciated!
It's more likely it will sell for alot because its so rare. In fact, all SWP patterns are going for a ton now. Keep it up on ah for a while, start high and slowly decrease the price.
1 tip is to start very high, say 20k. Then when/if it expires, go for 10k. Alot of people use auctioneer with not alot of common knowledge, and they might see that the market price is 20k, so they think they can flip it for 20k. (which tbf, they probably can but its gonna take a long time)
Dandy made the good point - as it's rare, your chances of making good money with the pattern are quite high. Just got to be patient, might want to keep it 1-2 weeks in the AH, until one ambitient pattern-collector notices it... most of them are /w you anyway if the see you sell it, and usually make some real good offers. just might take some time
It is one of the rarest patterns in game at the present time(only 13 available in the world), and worth well over 10k.
The point is to be patient when selling, as you might have it for a few months.
