yup, because you never can destroy social standing, since there will always be some group of maintaining that society. If self sustaining robot is put in head, then maybe.

A society in which a court system has the death penalty in place but never uses it, either because they don't need to because society isn't corrupt, or because they purposefully find ways and loopholes around it so they can give a lesser punishment.

Well I see someone else already touched on "faith" so I suppose I'll leave that one alone.

As for something else... it would have a prison system based on rehabilitation and reintegration into society, as opposed to retribution.

couple of items come to mind, but the single most important one is

a global free clean renewable sourced energy source.

The answer is a single rule. Simple and self mitigating.

All must, that means every sentient being within said society, be taught the natural source of pure reason.

The only thing that could follow is Utopia creating itself.

How long do you think it would take for things to settle down?

Hmm, live forever, no diseases and be able to do what you want pretty much covers it.

But to elaborate, cure for all diseases, including aging would be a good start and living made free. All basic needs for everyone covered, like a 1 room apartment, cheap healthy food etc. but all the options to rise above that and benefits from it.

Everyone being equal and getting everything no matter their contribution just would not work, it would lead to stagnation, fast. Because there will no longer be the need to improve anything.

A united world under one ruler that is caring, powerful, smart, feared, and immortal (in concept/physical).
Like Big Brother from 1984, except nice and not evil.

    No human vs. human war.

Killing every one does not agree with the majority.

If you do not have the stomach this Utopia is nigh but a pipe dream. There are too many people who simply oppose the idea of peace. As well as there are too many greedy power hungry pigs. They too would need to be liquidated.

To start with, keep the population under 1 billion.

If all people would stop stereotyping others we would have made a huge step towards a better world ;-)

Creating a utopian society would make the world so much less interesting by default. Do not want.

If you do it right then it won't be boring. I wouldn't call a boring world a utopia anyways.
