Installing Windows onto a SSD: New Build

I am building up a new computer with both an SSD and a HD. I would like to boot, run the os, and have my most often used program on the SSD.

To install the OS, is there anything different I need to do ahead of time to prep the SSD? Or just toss in the boot DVD?

Also, should I wait to connect my HD until after I install the OS? Or if I connect the SSD as the primary drive will it be enough?

    Thanks!

Nothing special you need to do and yes don't connect your HDD until the OS is installed on the SSD.
