    Modding PVP gear

So, with the new change in mod'ing and set bonus transfer does this mean that changing out the alacrity in my pvp set for surge will remove my set bonus?

Can I take my PVE mods and swap those into my pvp gear to get expertise and my pve set bonus?

Unless I need the armoring mod from the pve set too.

And if that were the case wouldn't it be better if ONLY the armoring mod carried the set bonus? That way you could keep your pvp set bonus.

There isn't any change in game just yet.

However, from my understanding, when it comes, the set bonuses will be tied to the Amoring slot, and Mods and Enhancements will be as they are today, except they are making more different types (currently there is Armoring, Mod, Enhancement, Hilt etc.), such as there was in beta, like Focusing Lens for Lightsabers, and Overlays and Underlays for Armor and so on, though it seems that all of these will just be items with stats, and the Armoring is the slot you'll want to hold onto for the set bonus.
