    MB: ASRock P67 PRO3 (B3) || ASUS P8H61-M mATX

    It's enough for your i3-2100. The P67 is you have any plans on upgrading to an unlocked CPU later on

    RAM: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1600MHz (if you pair it with the p67)
    RAM: G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1333MHz (if you pair it with the h61)

    Or any of the other RAM linked earlier in the thread. That said I would switch the CPU to an i5-2400 and get a p67 board, if you can't fit it in the budget stick with the i3-2100.

    Yea that was my mistake Marest, I typed i3 2100 but I meant the i5 2500k. Sorry for that. As for the price of the MoBo, a local store is packaging up the MoBo and the i5 2500k for 315$ together so I figured I'd hop on it since it's definitely in my range. And about the RAM thanks for the answer, they also have a 1600MHz version of it so I'll take your advice and hop on it.

    If you can get your mentioned MB + 2500k for $315 definitely go for it.

    I totally agree with this; that is a fairly good deal.

    Well you guys have been a big help, especially your sample builds which I used for a baseline to build off of, Marest. Hopefully when I get all the parts this thing will fall together nicely and work as intended. Crossing my fingers for no DoA parts lol.
