Complete Noob's attempt at a computer build

So I'm trying to save money but also build a computer that will play D3 at a high level... granted; i currently play on a 5 year old macbook so any kind of upgrade is going to look great to me haha... Here is a few hours of research and comparing prices got me and I just wanted to know if there were any glaring problems with the parts i've chosen or if you know of any cheaper parts that i could swap out. Let me reiterate that I know virtually nothing about computers so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

1. Cheaper (and better / modular) PSU / DVD burner combo:

$75 -and- a MIR for $25. Total cost: $50.

2. Take the money you save there and get a GTX 560 ti. They're absurdly better for the extra 30~ bucks.

3. You don't need a heatsink, the CPU comes with it.

4. The FX-4100 is now in line with the Intel counterparts due to recent price drops. However, you have a very limited path to upgrade if you decide you want more performance. In the higher end of the spectrum, Intel's Sandy Bridge line outperforms Bulldozer quite a bit. If you want to go with Intel for that reason, have a look at the i3 2120.

kinda wanna stay under the $800 price tag... but if i cant play d3/sc2 on really good settings w/o spending more I'm willing to cave

Low prices doesnt equate to bad product. PNY is not a bad company but w/ the price of ram Gskill corsair Mushkin and so on are all easily obtainable in any budget.

Dont choose Bulldozer for your gaming PC. Any Intel processor in the same price range is better.
