    Motherboard Compatibility Help.

Hi everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my brother's computer processor and I dont really know much about compatibility.
Problem is, we are looking for the cheapest options for this.

He has this motherboard: (I know it's very old but its working very fine)
    http://www.amazon.com/Foxconn-Intel-...832836&sr=8-60

Now we were looking for the cheapest but good processors, and we found this one:
    http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Processo...d=CK05U5OUM922

    Now, do they fit?
Or i will have to buy him another new motherboard? Like this one:
    http://www.amazon.com/Intel-Socket-M..._bxgy_pc_img_c

If it helps, we are looking for a good but cheap processor/motherboard combo for 200$ max. (Amazon only)

Hope you guys can help me out,
    Thanks.

You will need to buy a new motherboard

Find http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115078 and an H67 motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157233 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130579 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130569 are good examples) and he will be leagues ahead of the processor you linked

Your CPU socket types are all over the place.

The motherboard that you currently have is an Intel Socket 775 motherboard. The processor you linked is an Intel I3 socket 1156. Your CPU socket type has to match for the motherboard and the CPU. Also you have to make sure that your memory type is supported.

GIGABYTE GA-H61M-DS2 LGA 1155 Intel H61 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard $49.99
    Intel Core i3-2120 Processor 3.3 GHz 3MB Cache Socket LGA1155 $129.99
    Corsair Vengeance Blue 4 GB PC3-12800 1600mHz DDR3 $24.99
Total - $204.97 (You can save $5 by going with an Intel I3 2100 instead of the Intel I3 2120 however it is $5 more to get a nice boost in speed by going with the I3 2120.)

A concern, the motherboard you linked has this to say about memory:
"Support for DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules."

Yet you linked a 1600 MHz memory module. Is this an issue?

oops, i forgot about memory. Yes, the 1600mhz RAM that Culadin linked will work fine, it may just clock itself down to 1333mhz but will still be compatible
