Highest healer with highest objective score usually gets my vote.

If no apparent healer its objectives.

If my wife is with me its her

Has a healer I thank all of you that give us healers MVP votes! I didn't know they did anything which always made me sad to see me with 4 or 5 medals and the dps having 6 or 7.
I always vote for people that help the team in other ways besides healing. Ex: Sorcerers life gripping the ball carrier to the line

keep mvping those sage/sorc's w/ the op dmg so they can kill you easier next time you face them in huttball. this might be a useful feature if ppl werent dumb and just clicked on the highest dmg and actually gave them out for the ppl doing the objectives.
