So i'm just starting to get into raiding, came home from a 1 month vacation, found a guild and started gearing. Well now i've found myself in a small stand off between 2 weapons.

The LFR Gurthalak voice of the deeps

Pit lords destroyer from well of eternity

I cannot decide, pit lords destroyer provides me with an extra 3-4% damage boost to TV, CS, etc due to the mastery.
While the other only provides 40 strength, 80 damage on the weapon and a proc, now it's because of the proc i can't decide. I didn't manage to use it as i got it at the end of raid finder and am about to go to sleep in 5 minutes. Please don't just look at the ilvls and say the 390 :P thank you.

Any specific reason why ?
When i used it on a dummy for 15~ mins i didn't get many procs of it

Because the base weapon damage of Gurthalak is a lot higher than Pit Lord's Destroyer, and that alone will put it above Pit Lord's Destroyer - even if it doesn't get any procs.

You're getting a lot more weapon damage than 80 damage out of it: See the bottom row from the link above, specifically:

+254 Melee Min Damage
+380 Melee Max Damage
