Hi all, this isn't really a help thread, but more of a question thread!

Our Raid Comp:

Fire Mage
Survival Hunter
Shadow Priest

Yes I know this is a range favored right, this is the best I could do for the multidotter classes

My questions are:

Is there anything you would switch with our raid comp?

After looking at multiple guides i saw multiple placements, could you verify which one would be best? I've seen some tanks tank the boss at the sides of the pond, just like normal etc.

What is the Dps requirement for this fight?

What the heck is a fire mage soaker? I didn't understand that after looking at videos.

Is there a certain % we zerg the boss at?

Every constellation is fine, just make sure the adds die fast, rather one after another than dotting all of the adds.

My guild used a set-up very similar to yours OP.

I'm the tank and I start tanking in the middle ofc. We go 7-7-5-1 and after that we just pop BL and zerg. After the first black phase, I tank the boss where the Claw spawns and keep it there for the rest of the fight.

The Mage has to be Fire in order to soak with Cauterize. It's an ability they can spec into and it's really great on this fight.

Dps wise our lowest dps did 35k, then we had 2 people doing 45k+ and the last 3 did 50k+ with the tank doing 28k+.

How are you arranging your CD's for the black phases and when is it you're experiencing issues?
