    HM ultraxion issues

Hey there, having a weird thing happening to us on HM Ultra10.

Basically, he melees our heals one after another for some awkward reason some 3-4 minutes into the fight. Yes, it's healers only, that he 1shots. And of course, our aggro table is topped by our dpsers.

Anyone encountered this issue before and if so, knows how to handle it? pretty annoying, considering we have him at 3% on these shabby tries.

Are they going back into the group after collecting crystals? It might be something to do with standing away from him?

Your tanks are failing, simple as that.

This is the only answer that's going to be true here OP.

Might help if you explained what the fail is to the OP.

I'm guessing that the melee on the healer is happening at a fading light. When the tank leaves the twilight realm for fading light, he loses threat. The other tank has to have taunted before he leaves in order to ensure that whoever is next in the table doesn't take a hit.

In normal mode, I used to wait to see the other tank being targeted by ultraxion before hitting heroic will, but in hard mode, it's a lot more dangerous. Sometimes the fading light debuff is very short (3 seconds), so if you wait to see the bosses target change, it may be too late to hit the button, considering latencies.

Just make sure your taunts taunt immediately when fading light is announced on the other tank, and there should be no problems. It helps if they're watching their boss timers to anticipate the taunt coming, and not be on the GCD when it happens.

Somewhat good point, I personally just have it announced as a message whenever and can see it on my focus frame aswell and what not. but a little reminder - Taunt if OFF the GCD so that doesn't matter one bit.

    Yep. It's what he said.

The tanks HAVE to be on the ball and taunts have to go out on time. Of the like thirty attempts to kill HM Ultrax...more than half of them were 'cause of our tanks failing in this regard.

Honestly, the hardest part of this fight is just not tunneling and falling asleep through it...

At 4 minutes in your healers will actually be just below the tanks in threat since fading light wipes the threat of whoever it lands on, and it has most likely cycled through every dps at least once, probably twice at that point, and healers never get fading light. However, for ultraxion to be meleeing them means your tanks are mistiming their own fading and taunts.

Huh, as SOON as fading light comes up, we taunt, there's no point in waiting. The tank that has fading light just keeps DPSing until his count is at 1 and uses heroic Will, There's no "timing" required and no possible issues, when fading light comes, the tank currently tanking taunts, no matter what and the other will have 3 to 9 seconds to chill.
