    cat shot with "Arrow" lives!

    http://www.bing.com/videos/watch/vid...nrll&gt1=43001

I put arrow in "" because I am fairly sure that is a bolt, you never get a good look at it but it looks far to short to be an arrow (Perhaps a childrens arrow?) Lucky cat, cruel person!

I know they probably won't, but if they found the person that did it, they should shoot them with an arrow!

Also the ignorance of the newscaster and vet are hilarious, "It was a pretty dull arrow!" it was tipped with a practice target shooting head, quite obviously, and arrows themselves cannot be dull!

Looks like a bolt to me too but eh details.

I've seen this sort of thing a couple times before (which is disgusting). There's some truth to that "cats have nine lives" thing, I swear.

Yep, could've sworn I've seen news like this else where and multiple times. Their narrow skulls come in handy for situations like this.

I hate cats but nobody should take the life away from one.

I will start off by saying there are way too many stray cats(other animals as well) and the population needs to be dealt with; however, this is not the proper way to go about doing it.

I'm glad the cat survived! Are there some people that just don't have a conscience? Whoever did that is sick.

I used to be a stray cat, til I took an arrow to the...

Seriously thought, the twat that shot the poor cat needs fingers chopped off (or broken at least) so they cant draw a bowstring ever again. Good to see kitty is recovering.

Yeah it happened around where I live. Animal cruelty laws here are pretty stiff. If they ever catch the perp they will be facing some hard time behind bars. I mean think about it, if they are this cruel to a animal imagine what they can do to a human being!

Exactly. They're just poor naive animals, they don't know any better, where as humans -should- know, or at least have enough empathy, to not be so cruel. Sad thing is you can beat the hell out of a lot of animals and they'll still love you all the same. Absolutely the best part of my day after work is coming home and seeing my cat or Tegu excited to see me. Many people would die before I let any harm befall my pets.

Don't a lot of serial killers start out torturing and killing animals?

I'm surprised this is newsworthy. It isn't like the bolt was found in the cat's head. Arrows and bolts aren't very deadly if they just hit your body. They stay stuck so the blood doesn't run out. The cat was walking around naturally, so he wasn't dying. If that was on purpose, bad people. If it was on accident, unlucky cat.

Did.. the cat take an arrow to the knee? that surely explains it living
No but really why the hell would you do that sorta thing

its too bad cats cant tell jokes

But eh, people just getting riled up - yet again, without knowing anything.

Just casting assumptions as if they were completely righteous. I don't know why people even bother trying to judge something that they cannot even be sure exists.

Arrows and bolts are not deadly if they hit your body? As someone who hunted deer for years with a bow, I assure you arrows are quite deadly hitting something in the body, the force they can put out, especially on something so small, is quite large considering.

there is a good side of this for the cat. he was a stray before, but now he will have a good loving home with cat lovers who probably even fought to be able to have him. its nice how bad things can turn into good sometimes.

Poor cat, thats a terrible thing...

more so for me though because now I will go to the special hell for people that think of skyrim memes when reading thread titles about injured cats :<
