Pretty casual to be honest; I don't complete games for the sake of completing them. I complete games that I'm still having fun playing and I want to keep playing but outside of WoW I don't aim for achievements. I buy a LOT of games and my list is already quite extensive. Sometimes, if a game is really awesome, I'll replay it or go for achievements/try to see every little thing but that's pretty rare.

I don't even play video games anymore, I just argue about them online and call other people idiots.

And I'll have you know that I love every single moment of it.

Im all 3 I guess. I seek Challenges in games most of the time, I finish games to see their story (sometimes I dont depends on how bad the game is if it is), and I do like completing things. Truth to be told though, I dont like the Achivement system and certainly dont like the new "Gamble" system that some games are applying. I liked farming mobs in Castlevania:SotN to get their loots. It was fun because items used to be unique in a way. But having to deal with chances me no like. Achivements that are just there to be annoying isn't something to do. Things were more enjoyable without the "achivements" in my opinion.

    Hey, new to the forums
I must say, I love to complete single player games cos I feel satisfied doing so.
Never really got in competition, but I'd probably would if I had time.

It's pretty hard to rate myself by this chart because most games I play are open ended and don't really have a "final boss".

I go for 100% in every game, unless I hate them.

On this definition, casuals. I never replay my games really (well except WoW if that's how you'd think it). Don't see any point in it.

I've been planning to do Skyrim all over again tho as completely different char, but probably won't for real.

It depends on which kind of game it is. If it's a sandbox/free-roam game like Assassin's Creed i will usually do a mix, like I'll start out doing a couple main story missions then ill stop and do some side story missions and then after a while ill go back to story and then back again to side missions. Then when i beat it (usually free-roam games are open ended to let you continue playing) i'll try and get all the collectibles i can before i get another game. If i dont get 100% on that game before i get another then i will usually pass on it temporarily and play the new game i got and go back to the other game to complete it 100%. I like to enjoy the game and all it has to give rather than just focus on story and get it done for free-roam/sandbox games. Now if its a more linear game i'll only pick up things that i come across i won't really go explore all that much i leave that for my next play through then ill go explore everything i missed.

I almost never go for 100% completion. I only play for reward so unless 100% completion gives me something really cool like a new character or unique outfit or cheats, there's no way I'd do it. Even then it depends on the criteria for 100%, the only games that I can recall where I had fun going 100% were Banjo series and Mario series.

But whenever I pick up a game I tend to put it on the hardest difficulty right off the bat and play to the end. If the game has fun combat I'll replay with a handicap.

Depends on the games, but Skelington doesn't often go for 100% completion. He beats most games he has and frequently replays them. So, according to your poll: gamer.

Semi-Gamer. Out of the 31 games in my Steam library I've only finished about 11 of them. But those 11 I have completed I play all the time.

I mostly jump around games, so I never really take time out to complete a game until I feel like I need to.

I'm not sure, I'm not a completetionist, I just play games to enjoy them. I guess on your poll, gamer.

Lost count how many times I've replayed OOT.

If the game is good enough i will play it twice. I have passed Fallout : New Vegas about 4 times now. I have a file working on the fifth. But i haven't played in a while.

Depends on the game. If it's CoD or BF singleplayer campaign then I will say "**** it, I'm not wasting my time" but if it's more Metroid Prime, Bioshock or SC2 then I go for most "achievements" if I find the time invested enjoyable.

I only go completionist if I enjoy the time spent. It's the reason why I don't bother with achievements in WoW.

Oh boy! Another thread misusing the term "casual"...

I'm a casual gamer. I play when I want to play them. I don't do it for any reason other reason than "I wanted to.". I've played and beat Doom thousands of times for no reason other than just the thrill of playing it because it was a convenient waste of time. I even went through all the pars for no reason other than it was a convenient way to waste the time away.

I swam around both WoW continents on my hunter back in vanilla for no reason other than to explore, and it was a convenient waste of time.

I mean really, how long are we gonna keep doing this?
