About the Guild:
High Guard of US - Smolderthorn. The core of the guild has known each other, and gamed together for years. We ended up taking a break from WoW right around the release of Cataclysm. Slowly but surely we’ve all found our way back home. Unfortunately, all of the already established guilds that share our goals do not have the room for all of us together. Because of this, we have decided to found our own guild in order to continue playing together. We intend to make a dedicated push and become one of the higher end 10 Man horde progression guilds on our server. We will achieve our goals through our successful leadership, as well as the talent, and determination of our members.
At this point we are looking to perfect our 10 man Core.
What we expect from you:
We expect you to know your class and understand the basic concepts of raiding, as well as the specifics of all of the fights that we are currently farming or working on. We expect you to listen and follow directions; of course we encourage our members to ask any questions they may have about an encounter. We are also open to members adding their own input as long as they can do it in a non intrusive, abrasive, or douche baggy manner. You should also plan to be fully prepared for each scheduled raid at the time that it is scheduled, barring unforeseen complications. We do not expect perfection, but we want to see our raiders constantly striving for it. We expect all of our raiders to be extremely competitive, always wanting to top each other (In a friendly way)
What to expect from us
We are not overly intense while raiding, and make a point of trying to have a good time while doing so. That being said, we also make a point of clearing content, and behavior that gets in the way of this goal will not be tolerated. We have a dedicated group of officers and core raiders that can be relied upon to be ready to go for each and every raid. Finally, we take pride in maintaining a stable and drama-free raid environment that is conducive to progression.
Note: Must be able to make all three days consistently.
*Invites go out 15 minutes prior to the start of each raid. All scheduled progression raids are currently 10-man, although depending on our growth this may change.
