like the ittle says i am interested if the introduction of cross realm raids will allow me to do rated battle grounds from my main character with my friend and his guild on stormscale

Doubt it. I saw Blizzard cross realm queued for RBGs when they did it in 4.2 patch but that might just be because they're Blizzard.
I don't think it will let you thought. They're talking about entering the same instances, not queueing into the same thing. You might as well ask if you can cross realm arena. (No).

but there is a difference between rbgs and arena is you have a set team for arena and you don't for rbg's
