You don't often see Orcs, for instance, drop their battle axes to pick up their T-Mobile Sidekicks and respond to a text. So then, odds are that the ads will make sense one way or another, which pretty much narrows the setting down to present or near-future. Well, unless World of Warcraft 2: Electric Boogaloo Fueled by Dew is on the way. But that's a world we'd prefer not to live in. Or think about. Ever again."

No, it will work as the campaign for the merging of bnet and you wow account with mountain dew pet battle bot and things like that, it will also have launching in media via asssosiation with compagnie ... It's called marketting

The wording suggests in-game advertisements, but I think the more likely scenario is cross-product promotions like we've seen with the Mountain Dew Game Fuel and WoW. They've only gotten their toes wet with that type of advertising thus far, so it makes sense that they would reach out to someone with a background in it.
