    Depends on fight length.
Normally its worth it if you're gonna be able to make those 20 seconds more like 10 or less with restless blades.

I'm sorry, I know this is really anal, but OP it's rupture with a U, not rapture. I thought maybe it was a typo but you spelled it that way every time.
But basically yes, skip it if you can't time it right and there's no debuff.

Sorry, but thats completely illogical. Either rupture is worth using over evis or it is not. There in general is absolutely no bonus to be had by having damage continue to tick on a target you are being forced to switch off of, so your rupture doesn't magically become worth using if it wasn't worth using before just because you are pulling off for a slime.

What's worse, unless you don't attack the ooze until your rupture has ended on Yor, you lose your BG state on Yor because of target switching, making rupture LESS valuable than usual, rather than more. If rupture DoT is higher than evis DD, it's better (and if not, not), as Sesshou points out, regardless of when the damage happens. The only exception to this is directly before the beginning/end of an increased damage phase, a few seconds before wiping, or when you're about to switch targets, all of which support DD over DoTs (unless it's entering a damage phase as you use your finisher). Yor doesn't take magically increased damage while summoning oozes.
