Could somebody tell me which computer to purchase?

Hello guys, I need help with purchasing a computer. I am not an egghead and I'm wondering if somebody could just tell me which computer to buy. I am looking to address to specific problem I am having and nothing more. My latency is great. But I would like to be able to raid 25 mans with good fps. Right now, my computer locks up when there's a lot of aoe effects in 25 mans. When I have mumble and 25 man raids up, it goes bananas.

Could somebody tell me which computer to buy to address this? The cheapest possible is, of course, the best answer. My aim is to get a computer that allows me to function as a raider without any problems. I'm not looking for super ultra high graphics. I would greatly appreciate any help. If I should order it like in egghead.com, which parts should I purchase?

    Signed,
    Computer illiterate

What exactly would your budget be?

Do you think you would be able to assemble your own? (It's really not that hard and very easy to learn.)

What do you currently have that you would be able to re-use?

    Thanks for responding!

Because I teach, I don't have the time (anymore) to learn how to build my own computer. The price of this computer can range from $600.00 to $2,000.00. But the best price is the least amount for a computer that I need. No more, no less!

My current laptop is a cheap little thing, worth $350.00 retail. It raids 10 mans at 20-30 fps. But after I purchase this new computer, I'll be using the old one for classroom use. By the way, a desktop is fine.

Here is a tower that's probably going to be able to run WoW near max specs for under your price range:

you just need to find a monitor you like. As long as the only thing you are looking to run is WoW at a steady 60 FPS there is really no need to go better.

This will tell you everything you will need to know. The assembly itself will take about 2-4h if you are not experienced. That is surely some time you can spend on a weekend, not?
For the selection of parts, please refer to the sticky index and the computer build help subforum.
