How do I dps with high latency

Of course you can. You can also use a donkey to ride to work everyday, or pay for your every expense in pennies. You could read a 2000 page book one letter at a time, or use potatoes and stripes of different metals to charge an iPad.

If all you have is a donkey, pennies, potatoes, and strips of metal, then why not?

Little update to this,

The reduce the lag website worked very nicely, got me down to 600 MS, thank you so much for the suggestion!

Assassination is indeed the easiest specc (for me) to play correctly with this much latency.

Although assassination is the easiest specc to play correctly, I can push more dps with a mastery heavy combat specc. I did a shadowcraft auto reforge for assassination, then changed the main hand to Nok, then tweaked the reforges to max out my expertise (mainly taking away from +hit reforges). I also always use Nok and VoS to max out my passive damage output. The lower haste with high mastery make it easier to manage my energy while providing a lot of passive damage. My highest dmg abilities are Melee > Sinister Strike > Main Gauche. After tweaking the mastery build, I hit auto-reforge to see what my damage loss from the standard "haste" build would be. The difference for me at my gear level (392) was that optimal haste provides + 435 dps. I'll take a minus 435 if it means an easier to manage specc.

I am in no way advocating this approach as the best, but I figured I would throw this option out there for anyone else who is plagued with shitty internet.

The only thing I can think of to maybe reduce it a bit, put settings on the lowest and disable everything what you don't need, don't use any addons preferably, or only very lightweight and don't run any programms in the background.

Sub is a nono with those amounts of latency.
Combat is pretty ok.
Assas is best for it, since you can "plan" everything like 3 secs.

It has to be really frustrating to play at that high latency, hope the best for you.

You could try using Leatrix Latency Fix but not knowing why you've 800+ lat, not sure it would work. Worth a try, or even finding an i-net cafe for raid nights.

Yeah, I'll quit playing WOW just as soon as I quit smoking and drinking. They don't call it an addiction for nothing lol. Reason for high latency is that I'm deployed to Afghanistan and suprise suprise, the planet's taint doesn't have the best ISP.

Unless my English is letting me down and the use of the word taint isn't as negative as I'm seeing it, noone should even bother helping you.
