    Heroic Ultraxion 10m. Need soak advices.

    Hello every1.

    We gonna start our tries on Ultraxion-H 10m tonight.

    Raid comp is:

    Blood DK
    Prot Warrior (without safeguard - gonna respec if needed)
    Holy Paladin
    Resto Druid
    Shadow Priest x2
    Enhancement Shaman
    Combat Rogue
    Unholy DK
    Fire Mage / Ret Pally

    Need some advices about soaking Hour of Twilight.
    Would this work?

    1st HoT -> Blood DK + Rogue (Cloak)
    2nd HoT -> Prot Warr + Spriest 1 (Dispersion)
    3rd HoT -> Spriest 2 (Dispersion) + Holy Pally (Bubble)
    4th HoT -> Blood DK + Fire Mage (Cauterize) or Ret Pally (Sac from Holy Pally + personal cd)
    5th HoT -> Prot Warr + Rogue (Cloak)
    6th HoT -> Spriest 1 (Dispersion)+ Fire Mage (Block) or Ret Pally (Bubble)
    7th HoT -> Dk Blood + Spriest 2 (Dispersion)

    Can use Safeguard (Intervene) from our Prot Warr if its needed.
    Thanks in advance.

    Seems to me you are making it harder than it needs to be. HoT can be soaked every 3rd cast. You might try:

    1st HoT -> Blood DK + Rogue (Cloak)
    2nd HoT -> Prot Warr + Spriest 1 (Dispersion)
    3rd HoT -> Spriest 2 (Dispersion) + Fire Mage (Cauterize)
    4th HoT -> Blood DK + Rogue (Cloak)
    5th HoT -> Prot Warr + Spriest 1 (Dispersion)
    6th HoT -> Spriest 2 (Dispersion) + Fire Mage (Cauterize)
    7th HoT -> Blood DK + Rogue (Cloak)

    Hope this helps.

    That will surely help. As I told, our 1st tries so a bit worried.
    Thanks

    You can skip the palas and just go bdk+rogue->prot-spriest->mage-spriest->bdk+rogue etc.

    You can also use the Dps dk with AMS+IBF if for whatever reason you prefer that.

    There are many possible solutions. here is a simple one:

    Team A: tank1, rogue
    Team B: tank2, SP1
    Team C: SP2, Mage
    Rotate those teams: A->B->C-> A->B->C-> A

    Dispersion,Cloak,Cauterize are ready every time.

    If have ret comes instead of mage, you can replace him with both paladins, each replace him once:
    A->B->C (Ret bubble instead of mage Cauterize)-> A->B->C (Holy bubble instead of mage Cauterize)-> A

    These solutions use no external cds (counting on someone else to give you a buff to survive).
    Failing means either you fucked up or healers didn't heal enough.

    Your initial setup will fail; the mage will die due to the debuff when he ice blocks, I believe(I know paladins with the debuff die even if bubbled, assuming mages will too).

    If your fire mage is not there that day, you can use your holy paladin/ret paladin with glyphed divine protection. They glyph divine protection, and then they get a hand of sacrifice from the other paladin(or a safeguard intervene) and they can survive if topped off.

    Your Unholy DK can also soak via Safeguard/Hand of Sac+Ams+Amz. Ams+Amz alone is not enough, however.

    IMO you're better off not having a tank in the first hour. Whichever pair takes the first needs to take it a 3rd time, and your tanks are better off using their cooldowns to survive the damage towards the end.

    I would suggest this order:

    1st HoT -> Spriest 1 (Dispersion) + Rogue (Cloak)
    2nd HoT -> Prot Warr (Shield Wall + Shield Block) + Blood DK (AMS + IBF)
    3rd HoT -> Spriest 2 (Dispersion) + Holy Pally (Bubble)
    4th HoT -> Spriest 1 (Dispersion) + Rogue (Cloak)
    5th HoT -> Prot Warr (Shield Wall + Shield Block) + Blood DK (AMS + IBF)
    6th HoT -> Spriest 2 (Dispersion) + Mage (Ice Block)
    7th HoT -> Spriest 1 (Dispersion) + Rogue (Cloak)

    You have some strong survivability cooldowns in this group so Safeguard shouldn't be required, but really there's no reason not to use it on this fight.

    Blood Dk is fine to use on the last hour, since all a blood dk needs to do for the last hour is AMS+Bone Shield; he'll still have his vamp blood up for a raid cooldown(with 4pc) and icebound up in the big burn.

    We go:

    Tank + Rogue
    Tank + Hunter
    Shadow Priest (with glyph) + Mage

    Repeat

    Why are you making it so complicated? You have 6 perfect soakers, you can just use the exact same rotation. Exactly like Mohammed said, or anything of that sort. Personally I'd prefer to just leave it as: tanks -> priests -> mage/rogue for even more simplicity.

    Why would you make the SP reglyph for dispersion there? it's not like he can soak another Hour within two minutes anyway?

    OT:

    Just make up three teams of two and roll with that, as other have mentioned in the thread.

    Thanks every1 for the advices.
    We killed that like 1 hour ago.

    Did almost like Mohammed told --> 2 Cycles of DK + Rogue / Warr + Spriest 1 / Spriest 2 + Mage and on 7th both Paladins bubbled
