I've had it for about 5 years. It says i the spec that it supports "Micro ATX, Standard ATX" mobo.
How does this case look with regards to airflow, considering I'll be putting a OC'd intel i5 2500k/i6 2600k in there with a decent cooling mechanism? Should I re-use it or get another case?
that was and still is a good case, but personally i'd get a new one (unless you like that design) if you can afford it. sometimes on a budget that $100-150 can be spent better places than on a case
Yeah that case would be perfectly fine. Just add in case fans to maximize airflow and I would opt to purchase an aftermarket CPU cooler such as a Coolermaster Hyper 212. With that $100 you save on the case it could mean the difference between picking up the i5 or the i7 or.... a SSD.
What the two mods said and since you plan on to OC and you have a concern about airflow i would say get something like the corsair H80 to pull air into the case from the back since that would eliminate most of issue you otherwise could run into with heat from the GPU, PSU or the RAM, tho the last isn't too bad.
cheers guys. thanks culadin, i remember i spoke to you about this a while back. only getting around to building the best now. appreciate all the advice.
