I hope the next ME game is similar to DA:O with it's characters.Starting as an Asari on Thessia or Illium, a Salarian Scientist or STG member on Sur'kesh or in a STG party somewhere, or a Turian on Palaven or in C-sec. That would be badass.

Supply pylon sounds so over powered that it has to have some pretty serious drawbacks. Otherwise grenades will be the new rockets.

I really hope "ME4" will let us create our own character, rather than forcing us into a Commander Shepard mold. Don't get me wrong, the Commander's become a favorite protagonist of mine, but I want to be able to make an asari or a turian

    or a volus

God, that would be the most annoying dialogue ever. "Well you see *wheeze* we have to *wheeze* get to the Citadel *wheeze.*"

While it certainly is interesting to have a choice between multiple species and see how the story unfolds around those choices it is not something I want. At least if they go the route of DA:Origins. Where the only real difference is the prologue to the story and it has little effect outside of that. The problem with multiple races/species is that it creates exponential growth for all the choices if you want to make the race/species selection meaningful.

I'd rather have one great story that I get to influence with a central theme then risk a homogenized story. Mass effect 3's entire story would only work for a human character. To retain that level of story and richness they would have to create an additional game for each race.

I'ma have to stop reading this thread with all the Leviathan talk. I've purposefully avoided any info about it because I don't want any. XD

There are other ways around it, but they all involve something so ridiculously convoluted that I just don't see it as being feasible. It would make much more sense for BioWare to stick to their original plan of ME3 being the end of Shep's story, and ME4 introducing a new cast. As much as I love my Shepard, it just doesn't make sense for her to be around any longer.
Oh it can be done. New DLC for ME3 that takes place after the decisions.

Blue Ending, if you have full Rep you send the reapers into the sun, and then after a flash of energy wake up on Earth; if you dont have full Rep you just got indoctrinated, wake up, game ends, choose new ending.

Red Ending, you wake up on earth alive, if you have the rep.

Green Ending; turns out you were indoctrinated, and by organic/synthetic hybrid they meant reaper, start over.

Walk away ending, you died, start over.

That is done in a DLC for ME3 that has Shepard on earth in the aftermath, who then is found by Miranda/Jack/Random Soldier, and they explore London, then set off to find the Normandy.

Then ME4 skips forward 2 years, relays are fixed, and reaper technology is causing a power struggle.

Eh, that was a load of shit perpetrated by pissed off nerds who felt the practices of EA were worse than the fuck ups committed by banks and other corporations.

I just chalk it up to stupid people being stupid.

By whose measure? A 3rd rate website that no one every heard of? Not that I don't have issues with EA but that "award" for worst company in America was ludicrous, especially considering who weren't even in the list of organizations the website put up for voting.

Easy there, Sparky. It was a joke. I didn't see that award as anything more than a bit of fun, anyway.

Sorry. I just get upset at certain things. At any rate, you're right in that it was just a spoof award anyway.

    The costumers have spoken.
    Do not argue.

Also, BoA, while a bunch of assholes, just did what a bank is supposed to do - make money as opposed to a game company who is working hard to destroy the gaming industry, one company at a time.

Supply Pylon sounds a bit OP...
    Infinite grenades? :\
Also the new Sentinel is more techy than most Engineers ^.^

I know, and I know it's ridiculous to worry about it, but that doesn't change the fact I worry about it. I just still see it as potential resources they're taking away from SP DLC.

Either way, I'm am looking forward to the new classes, it's nice that they each have unique abilities unlike the last DLC, but I can't help but not care about Platinum difficulty. I mean I might try it a few times, but I've been playing gold exclusively pretty much ever since the game came out but and generally speaking, a good amount of players I get matched with aren't very good to say the least. So trying to pug Platinum sounds like a huge pain to me considering all I ever do is pug. So it just doesn't seem worth it to me.

Luckily, it's two different studios. BioWare Edmonton is in charge of the singleplayer, while I believe it's their Montreal studio that's in charge of MP.

I'm guessing there's a huge internal cooldown on the grenade resupply.

My guess is they're being funded by people spending a ton of BioWare Points to improve their luck with weapon crates.
