Admiral Hackett is therefore fabulous. Only character in ME I can think of who has one.

... Holy wow I just reached a new level of oblivious. I didn't even realize he had facial hair...

Joker does too, though. Jacob and Steve also have some lip hair going on there.

Would be more apt to call them goatee than beard, though scruff is definitely the best way to describe it.

I have a goatee (well, its fairly longer than a standard one) and dont want it associated with those wanna-be beards.
A google search of goatee gives me nothing but hollywood scruffs.
They arent real beards, they are more like tributes. Or wanna-bes.
The age of manly men have passed.

    *strokes full beard*

But yeah, I don't remember Hackett having just a mustache. Going to have to look that up.
    Edit:

I think he could pull off just having a mustache.

Hackett as a character did fit the role pretty well. Didn't stray too far into the no-nonsense military officer trope.

Hacket also has an amazing voice actor. A champion of sci-fi; no one was more fitting really..

Hes one of those caring military leaders.
Theres passion in him, not just hate.

Also, he calls you in ME1 to let you know "the responce back home" for how you handled THAT reporter.
Wasnt alot of interection with him prior to ME3. In ME1 he would just call you if you entered certain non-plotcritical systems to ask you for help with some missions and he only appeared in ME2 in Arrival to ask you for help a la ME1.

Then he took charge of assigning Shepard his duties in ME3.

Admiral Mikhailovich could had used some more screentime to flesh out his character.
Being the angry admiral that gives his life for the council isnt all the much.

I have a sudden and weird issue with the game. Like half way through in the multiplayer, my sound just randomly gets really freaking low. This is using my computer's native speakers.

I alt tab (after the match of course) and find that in the sound mixer, everything else is turned up, but ME3 is for some reason down to 10%. In the game options, the settings are set to where I usually have them.

Gonna try setting to lower quality sounds

Edit: Sigh, lowering the setting seems to have worked. Wonder what the hell happened to my sound card.

Also: YAY M-8 Avenger X! Thanks BioWare, that's the bestest gun in the game!

I am able to use the Mattock to a great extent in multiplayer. I am just not that good at carrying others though.

    Sounds like Skype auto-levelling.
Turn it off if it is
