Just got my place in line for the midnight release at my local Gamestop. Everyone got free Quiznos' subs and hot coffee. Why is my local Gamestop so fucking boss? Another hour and a half and ME3 will be mine!!!
Take pictures for us! I want to see the line! And the games! And maybe the sammiches too..
That does sound boss. I would have been at my midnight release but I got my vacation day cancelled because the guy who was supposed to be working for me called in sick. Just 9.5 hours to go until gamestop opens in the morning. I think gamestops should open early on wednesdays.
I has no camera or I would have. Line's gone already though. The way Gamestop does midnight releases, (at least my local Gamestop) is they open the doors at 10:00PM, they sell you the game, they mark your receipt with a number. Then you come back at midnight, you take your place in line, you show the guy at the door your receipt, and they hand you your copy.
Having been going to midnight releases for a long time, I remember when they used to not do things like this. The method they use now is a LOT faster. So I'm currently at home, waiting for midnight. I got a turkey and cheese sub with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise btw.
I'll just go ahead and drop this here.

Guys, I want to drive the Mako across planets :C
Mass Effect 3 is a remarkably satisfying conclusion to a beloved trilogy, and a poignant and memorable role-playing action game in its own right.
...g o n e s h o p p i n ...
I want to get stuck on a rock.
"The series' focus on player choice is as vital as it has ever been in Mass Effect 3. The effects of choices in previous installments have an impact in extraordinary ways here, more so than in Mass Effect 2. Sometimes the nods to prior choices are subtle. A lover might fondly recall her previous entanglement with you, while still supporting your new romantic interest. At other times, the impact is far more dramatic. Entire quests, conversations, and characters shift as a result of your actions in previous games (not to mention, your decisions in this one). As a result, you might be delighted by characters other players never meet, share intimate talks with crewmates other players never interact with, and deal with decisions other players never make. And as in previous Mass Effect games, your entire attitude when choosing dialogue options (paragon or renegade) can drive you to conclusions other players could never consider."
ARRRGH. This wait is such a torture! Reading reviews doesn't really help but I just had to. D:
I've been playing it for a good 6 hours. Pretty fun I suppose. There are hardly any dialogue options so far though; I dunno what's up with that.
Mmm I tried heaps of face codes and they all worked fine. ME3 faces look strikingly similar to ME2 faces (if not better)...I had initially imagined importing codes would turn up with all sorts of weird things but nope :P
Are you sure you aren't using any custom hair/faces/etc?
