Even though I have posted here numerous times, my post count still reads as "1" and as a result, I cannot post links, pictures, etc. How do I fix this?

Yeah, your 16 posts in the guild recruitment forum don't count towards post count. I suppose it's so people can freely bump their guild advertisements.

is that a new change? i am sure a lot of the "everbuying" spam bots make 10 posts in guild recruitment section, or am i wrong on this?

I'm going to have to defer to a more knowledgeable person on that. I recall long before I became a mod making guild recruitment posts that did count towards post counts. I still have 196 posts there.

Nope, guild recruitment has never counted toward post count. The spammers post there, but only because they don't realize that it doesn't help them toward their goals.
Fun stuff counted at first, but only for a very short time (less than a month, I believe).

Bots also get banned really quickly for spamming their stuff everywhere. Shouldn't be too difficult to find a few threads you might enjoy and add some good replies to get some more posts. Originally Posted by ScoutSaXe

At this point your questions have been answered, and no, posting "spam" in this thread to get to 10 isn't okay. There are lots and lots of threads on lots of different topics on this site. You should be more than capable of finding a few to actually contribute in.
