Cross faction RPing

I've recently been trying out this effort with some friends of mine, after I faction changed my horde hunter to alliance. We basicly with real id make a real id conversation, and rp with this, which I found kind of fun as it felt like two opposing factions actully being able to talk to each other.

The question I have is, has anyone else tried this means of rping with cross faction friends, and if so, are there any addons that work well with this kind of system?

I'm afraid I don't know any add ons.
What I do in cross-faction roleplay is type normally in /say but real id message them what I said.

I believe any attempts at cross-faction communication (save real ID) are not allowed, so you probably won't find any addons for that purpose, I'm afraid.

Hmm, I figured, its a shame really, cause well some might abuse cross faction communication, some of us might find it fun or even useful to talk to friends or other players.
I get why they don't, still, its a shame.

It's down to the abuse people would throw at each other. I still don't see that as a valid reason, but it's Blizzards decision in the end.

It's also to try and preserve faction separation. As much as I hate myself for saying it, as it's one of the most aggrivating arguments used by the whiners at times, this game is World of Warcraft, not World of Lets-have-some-tea-and-cookies-craft.

They should make that game though.

I don't see why RP servers could just have cross faction communication while others don't. It'd make things a lot more interesting.
