The problem with the 2012 argument is entirely based around the fact that MMO's are a separate entity, these games are in development for longer than regular games, so in turn when they are released there are going to be somethings that are not up to date. The game is constantly being worked on for a reason, so that it can make up for the flaws of being started in 2006 and having out of date issues replaced over time. Give the game time, it's an MMO they require more time then a regular game, WoW is only seen as good, because it has that long, long history for a video game, if you swapped SWTOR and WoW, the situations would be exactly the same. You'd have Vanilla WoW and everyone would whine because SWTOR had been polished OVER TIME. Give the companies little more then a month, if you use the whole "ITS 2012 IT SHOULD BE LIKE WOW NOW!" argument the Bioware would have had to continuously redevelop their game.

The only thing I miss about WoW is the pvp. WoW pvp is way better done, but that's really about it. Everything else I like in SWTOR better.

    Greetings,

Alright everyone this is getting out of hand. While the topic of SWTOR vs any other MMO out there is a great topic, it seem people can't discuss it maturely. Everything turns into a flame/troll fest. Everyone is a Fanboy/Fanboi/Fearboy (wtf really?). So, until this new trend of flaming topics dies down, please refrain from posting in or making threads about the subject.

    Respectfully,
