So I had to do a bunch of stuff around the house and decided to run the CCC overclocking auto-tuner. By the time I got back, it had decided that the stable clocks for my 6870 were 990 on the core and 1240 on the memory. I have since played a few games of battlefield 3 on 64 player servers at high preset and 1 game of Heroes of Newerth, though HoN isn't graphically demanding so it's hardly worth mentioning. While playing bf3, I noticed absolutely no graphical abnormalities and the highest temperature reached on the core was 76 C, before the overclock the highest I've seen is 71 C. Because only the CCC auto tuning tool was used, there was no increase in voltage. What I want to know is, has anyone with this same video card reached this overclock without volt modding? My setup is as follows:

i3 2100
gigabyte h61 mobo
4gb g.skill ram
XFX 6870 - http://ncix.com/products/?sku=62756&...X&promoid=1012
haf 912 with 2 120s in the front, one 120 at the side, one 120 at the rear and none at the top ( I'll get around to buying a fan or two for the top later )
