Yuri lowell, Tales of vesperia. don't have a picture i can link atm, but he's one of the only heroes that ever killed a bad guy rather than let him go, or let the law deal with him. pretty rare in video games these days.

Link is probably number one for me. Puts up with so much crap, and not one word of complaint.
Then, very close seconds are the likes of Solid Snake, Fox McCloud, Garrus Vakarian and Kain (just cos you're bad doesn't mean you can't be the protagonist!
).
