[Music] Local Bands

I posted this in the Metal thread, but felt it kinda needed it's own post. All the bands that make it clearly have talent. There are a lot of local bands I've noticed that arn't that good but have a lot of friends that support them, so they stick around, will slowly get better, but fall apart. (Been in the scene for almost 10 years now). But what do you do when you find one of those really good local bands? Well I figured I would make a thread about bands that you feel have the chance to make it all the way (Record deal and touring).

If possible, please only post studio stuff, live stuff from a phone doesn't work well when the band isn't known.

This is a local band from Syracuse, NY (where I'm from). Not signed yet, but they are super good. I am posting 2 songs, one from about 2 years ago and one of their new songs.

Lynam started in Birmingham, so not directly local here, but they're around ALLL the time. Met them the only time I've seen em live, nice guys, but the show was terrible. The audio was so damn bad, you couldn't hear Jacob sing. My favorite song by them is By Your Side, unfortunately, the best video I found of it is live, but it's pretty damn good quality.

Ok, so they're not totally local, they've been signed, but I don't think hardly anyone outside Alabama knows about em.

Edit: I'll add Adelayda to this. They're also from Birmingham, and are definitely less known.

I'm not to into the "radio rock" stuff. But they are good for what it is, and I could see them making it, that's for sure.

THe only local badn I can think of is quite small, I doubt many of you have hear dof them...Led zepplin? :P
