During the black phase on HC Yorsajh, obviously DND goes without saying, but is it a DPS increase to Blood Boil (with or without 2/2 Crimson Scourge) over heart striking the boss?
Save your talent points and just HS with DRW. Spread diseases to migate damage on raid.
[ Kanaxai ]
Get magic hit capped and use DRW+ DnD+ Crimson Scourge BB(+Whirlwind Maw). With the vengence you have you'll do amazing aoe, pestilience won't miss which what Kanaxai said reduce the overal party damage done to your party. Instead of HS/RS, whatever you like glyph take DnD glyph with Morbidity, i can asure you your AoE gonna blow.
As a top world parser for 10 hm yorshj (multiple top 50's) Dnd, DRW, Outbreak, pest, heart strike spam will get you to some very good dps.

The problem with HS is it affected by hit, exp and range. While BB only been afected by hit.
The top DPS above used FC runeforging along with DPS trinkets (wonder what they did in yellow, red and green oozes). I have to remind you not every guild surepass the 400 item level so what you see there is clearly not an indication about what better to use.

HS is better. BB's damage is just so terrible.
Diseases + Pest + DnD + HS spam. The adds should be in cleave range.
Doing the most possible damage is nice, but that's not necessarily the greatest here. What you want to be doing is killing adds the fastest. While you may think doing the most damage and killing them the fastest go hand in hand, they don't. The faster you take down individual adds, the quicker raid damage lightens up, because as long as an add is alive, it's going to be using Psychic Slice and melee-ing somebody.
HS cleave hitting the adds you want to hit isn't really controlable either - if you want to kill them you'd need to DS them, but then your overall dps on the adds would be greatly reduced.
In my opinion if you can really afford to spend some runes on blood abilities it should be HS in 10 man and BB (talented) in 25 man
