GENERAL INFORMATION

Shine is a Level 25 Horde 10-man raiding guild located on the server US-Black Dragonflight (EST). Shine was founded on January 1st, 2011 by seven dedicated and skill close-knit friends, many of whom have raiding experience dating back to Vanilla, even more in The Burning Crusade. We have always focused on raiding as efficient as possible with minimal hours/days spent. We are looking for like minded players that have the drive to succeed and are ready to push the guild further in progression.

While our resume does not reveal world first kills or achievements accomplished by no other, what does grant us a modicum of pride is that we have achieved our goals of progression while maintaining a friendly raid atmosphere. We are seeking progression focused raiders possessing a desire to succeed and a driven commitment to exceptional performance.



MORE DETAIL

Shine's Raiding roster is kept small by design. We are currently running with a set roster of 10 Raiders and have no intentions of recruiting for the bench. With such a small roster there is absolutely no room for lack of attendance.

All of our Raiders are expected to perform at high levels, know their class, know the encounters and show up on time. However, we don't yell, scream, shout or belittle our members. If someone isn't performing well, they are told what needs to be improved and that it needs to be done in a timely manner, otherwise replacements will be made.

We demand a high standard from our players in aspects of activity, commitment and maturity. We will invest a great deal of time and resources into helping you develop your character and do not want "guild hoppers". We want gamers who share the same principles as we do and who will dedicate themselves to the advancement and growth of the guild and it's members.

We do very well by working together and keeping drama to a minimum, so maturity and personality are very important to us, and have been the keys to our success. While we do want high performance, it is equally important to us that we raid with people who make the game enjoyable. It's important to us that everyone gets along on a personal level, that everyone's personality meshes with one another so that we can enjoy our raid time together and keep things relatively stress-free.

Off-nights are very active. We're regularly PvPing together, using the Looking For Raid tool or just chatting about random nonsense on Ventrilo. Activity branching to other games like Warcraft III, League of Legends, Skyrim and many other games is present. Most of our Raiders are not just World of Warcraft players, but avid gamers in general.

We use a Loot Council system. We're here to kill dragons, not play dress-up. More information can be found @ our website.
