Hmm, I keep getting 20 fps max on GW2, even when I go down to the lowest graphical settings. Here are my specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo CPU - 2.8 GHz
    Windows 7 (32-bit)
    RAM 4GB
    ATI Radeon DH 4600

Thinking of getting a new graphics card, maybe the Radeon 6880 (or whatever it is). What do people reckon, should I be getting a better fps really?

That's pretty old, and was made before we knew much about GW2 besides the minimum system requirements. If it's the same one as before and has not been updated, which it looks like it hasn't.

The rumor was that it would be released on the 15th, or next week if it didn't go to plan, and it looks like it didn't

    I7 920 @ 4.2 GHz, stable for over a year now
    Windows 7 (64-bit)
    Ram 12Gb
    MSI N580 GTX Lightning XE

I had a major problem with last nights stress test. I could leave the game idling in the character creation or selection screen for atleast 30 minutes without getting any crashes, but when I loaded into the game I would either get a gray/blue/green screen, gray or white stripes or just straight up BSOD.

Sometimes when I got the gray stripes my display drivers would recover, only to be followed by another crash 5-10 seconds later which would usually repeat a few times until I'd get a BSOD. I tried the following drivers :

    280.26
    290.53
    296.10
    301.42
    304.79

And all of them had the same problems. Some of them (Namely the beta 304 drivers) managed to play the game for 5 minutes before a bluescreen. Now, if it wasn't for the fact that I don't have this problem with any other games (And I can run furmark overnight if it counts) I might believe that the fault is in my GPU. But it isn't.
While I'd like to think that the new upcoming drivers might fix this problem, if there isn't another 4-5 hour stress test with them before the release I might just have to get a refund, since afterall there is no other way to test the stability of the drivers otherwise.

    Yeah it's pretty old.

They say my 560ti should be able to handle Ultra.

And while it did, it wasn't able to go above 40-50 fps in most areas. Not too bad, but still.

It is released http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-wi...ql-driver.html but only supports GTX 660Ti for now. You can hack it to install on other cards though. http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/...0#entry1745064

medium-high depending on how much is going on on the screen, your cpu isn't the best and GW2 is very CPU dependant.

When I turned off vsync I had 100+ FPS in a lot of areas. Some dipped to 50 if there were too many people, but that's not really a big deal in an MMO. 560ti as well. 560ti IS enough for ultra, but the list is still old. =P

The Radeon 6870 is a GPU I'm planning to upgrade to, since I have a very awful Geforce 210 at the moment.
Is there a budget CPU that you'd be able to recommend to me?

I think it's about 45% faster card (almost double fps in most benchmarks if I recall correct) but the rest of my pc is kinda crap so not sure how much of a difference it would be with your system.. maybe 1-5 fps dif!? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
