This should be enough for ultra or?

MSI 560ti Twin Frozr II OC Edition

    1920x1080 res.

I've been wondering if this'll do for Very High / Ultra.

The CPU is a bit old and I'm not sure if GW2 is a CPU intensive game as WoW or a GPU intensive game.

    Operating System:Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit
    RAM (Memory) : 4GB
CPUProcessor): AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+ 2.2GHz
Direct X:11 (I can't run it but it says I have it o_O)
GPU (Graphics card): Nvidia GeForce 9500GT

If you don't know how to find your specs go on to the start menu on Windows and on search type in "Dxdiag"

I hope this thread helps people.
Should run in ultra perhaps with medium shadows.

There cant be any answers given to this yet since they havent said much, but ill leave this here.

go to this link http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guild_Wars_2 and scroll down to "Game engine" and read and also take a look at this,
http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/941/gw2chart.jpg this one is all guesses but should give a little insight how well your computer will handle things

Basically, if you have a computer with dx11 gear your going to be more then fine, and even if you dont have it you going to be fine
The computers at gamescom germany were running dual cores not sure amd or intel, and nvidia 200 cards. The monitors were 22 inch 1920x1080p You can't even buy any of that anymore so i think anyone who wants to run this game should be able to, there is a site also will it run.

Resolution: Either 1280x720 or 1920x1080. Doesn't matter to me, they both look the same.

Oh yeah, the signature is lying.

I really hope you're right. This game seems to be very well Optimized while still maintaining great graphics.

And if you didn't notice, my signature is lying.

Well as Diamond Said They use Umbra occlusion engine.
So things are not being rendered if your not able to see them directly, this is really good optimization.

And you know if all else fails you can lower shadows.

But the game runs smoothly at the conventions on really old 200 series nvidia cards.

The good news is, you can buy a computer that can for 300-800 bucks.

Then you should run it fine maybe no shadows or low shadows.
What all else is in your pc, maybe you would just need a new card, but they run on your card at the conventions so im thinking your safe.

You want to know how will your PC handle GW 2 ? Go benchmark it in games like Battlefield 3 or The Witcher 2. If you can run those games without problem, there is just no way it will perform worse in Guild Wars 2. You will get "the worst case scenerio" with your settings and fps in those games you would get in GW 2. Unless ANet complietly screw optimalization, which I doubt they will.

Hi all! I'm a complete noob with computers. I know absolutely nothing (NOTHING) about computers. And I have no idea about GW2's system requirements. I think my computer is pretty decent, but better safe than sorry, eh? Also, I don't know what stuff you need to know, so I'll just tell you everything that sounds important. Here goes:

Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Processor: AMD Phenom II X6 1055T Processor ~2.80GHz
    Memory: 4096MB RAM
    DirectX Version: DirectX11
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460

Resolution: 1366 x 768 (Thinking about buying a new screen, this one is weird-shaped. I got it cheap from a friend.)

As Diamond said if you can run DX11 you should have no trouble running Guild Wars 2.

Yes idd you sure will. and thats why i said we should rename this thread "the E-peen thread" becouse most people in here knows that their computers will run it, if they have read any information about the game.

If you knew this would be an e-Peen thread, then why are you here? Are you here to compare? Is it now a pissing contest?

And I asked only to know if I can max it.
