My Laptop AMD A6-3420m APU
AMD Radeon 6520g
4gb ram
can this handle the game?
CPU: Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2630QM CPU @ 2.00GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
RAM: 4 Gigabytes
CPU: Nvidia Gforce 540m (laptop edition)
So yeah, this is a laptop from asus. It has an integrated graphics card and the gforce one.
Oh and yeah, my laptop is Windows 7 64 bit :P
I play WoW on Good settings on a 1920x1080 monitor while my laptop is 1600x900
Found a pretty cool link for estimated video card graphic settings:
I7 920 @ 4.2 GHz, stable for over a year now
Windows 7 (64-bit)
Ram 12Gb
MSI N580 GTX Lightning XE
I had a major problem with last nights stress test. I could leave the game idling in the character creation or selection screen for atleast 30 minutes without getting any crashes, but when I loaded into the game I would either get a gray/blue/green screen, gray or white stripes or just straight up BSOD.
Sometimes when I got the gray stripes my display drivers would recover, only to be followed by another crash 5-10 seconds later which would usually repeat a few times until I'd get a BSOD. I tried the following drivers :
280.26
290.53
296.10
301.42
304.79
And all of them had the same problems. Some of them (Namely the beta 304 drivers) managed to play the game for 5 minutes before a bluescreen. Now, if it wasn't for the fact that I don't have this problem with any other games (And I can run furmark overnight if it counts) I might believe that the fault is in my GPU. But it isn't.
While I'd like to think that the new upcoming drivers might fix this problem, if there isn't another 4-5 hour stress test with them before the release I might just have to get a refund, since afterall there is no other way to test the stability of the drivers otherwise.

I7 920 @ 2.67 GHz
Windows 7 (64-bit)
Ram 6Gb
2x ati 5770
screen 1920 x 1080
It is released http://www.nvidia.com/object/win7-wi...ql-driver.html but only supports GTX 660Ti for now. You can hack it to install on other cards though. http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/...0#entry1745064
Intel i5-3570K @ 4.7GHz | MSI Z77 Mpower | Noctua NH-D14 | Corsair Vengeance LP White 1.35V 8GB 1600MHz
Gigabyte GTX 670 OC Windforce 3X @ 1372/7604MHz | Corsair Force GT 120GB | Silverstone Fortress FT02 | Corsair VX450
How well will I be able to run Guild Wars 2 with these specs?
4 GB Ram
Radeon HD 6870 1GB
Intel Pentium Dual Core E6600 3.06GHz
Windows 7 64 bit

Thanks a lot for the help, but I have one last question.
The Radeon 6870 HD should be able to support the game on High/Ultra, but I need a CPU to match it.
3 CPUs caught my eye as "value CPUs"- AMD FX-4170, AMD FX-4100 and the AMD FX-6100
From what I've read, out of these three the 4100 is the "worst" of the CPUs, but is about 65$ less than the other two.
Will the 4100 suffice? Or should I invest in either the 4170 or the 6100?
Thanks for sticking around drigoly you've been a big help
Your current CPU is an Intel Pentium Dual Core E6600 , which is an LGA775 socket. In order to upgrade it you'll need to upgrade your motherboard as well, and most likely your RAM. Depending on what your budget is, that may or may not be feasible.. If you provided a budget it'd be fairly easy to tell you what to get (though you might want to take it to the Computer Build subforums
