Rawr is asking me to do questionable things

Hey, so pretty much from this point today, I have geared my prot warrior based off of guides and didn't do much math behind it. However, today I downloaded RAWR and it is asking me to gem full stamina instead of mastery and reforge expertise/haste rating instead of mastery.

Here is a link to my armory...

Before I did these crazy things I thought I would go by you guys first, maybe I just didn't do it right or something. I got worried when it asked me to reforge mastery rating to haste rating on my shield, parry into crit on my bracers, and dodge rating on my ring into expertise.

Does not sound right to me lol =P

I haven't used RAWR, but it sounds like you're set to DPS mode instead of tank mode. I've tinkered with ask Dr. Robot, and i know with that website, there's an option to select which spec you're in, and even in that you can change the importance of stats based on preference, but they are default set to what EJ.com has in their guides.
    Good luck with it.

I thought that as well, perhaps someone can give me insight of what I am doing wrong, because I told it to optimize for survival rating =(

I'm one of the people behind Ask Mr. Robot. Mr. Robot wanted me to drop in and personally say, "Welcome new user, Blug." Even though 5 million people use his site, he likes to say hello to each and every one! (Good thing he doesn't ask me to do it personally each time... it would take me YEARS to complete that quest).

Also, a hearty "Thanks" goes out to MoshJosh for recommending the tool

Enjoy! And stop by our forums if we can help you with anything.

Always great to see someone from the AMR on the forums. You guys seem to be reading about everything where your site is mentioned

b2t: AMR is a great tool for a quick look but you've got to be careful from time to time and still use your head. Sometimes the suggested things might be not the very thing you want. Use it as a guide but don't follow it blindly. Always check if all the options are correct and if the results are comprehendible.
From time to time there might be a better to check the reforges again with something like wowreforge.com to see if there isn't a more efficient way to reforge. AMR is rarely wrong... I think I haven't had a "wrong" suggestion by it yet. It just might be slightly off.

Hi meteo! You're right, we do try to keep up when people mention us, for two big reasons.

    1) A lot of people misunderstand something on our site, then spread those rumors. We try to make sure everyone understands how it works and correct those misconceptions. For example, some people think we're wrong because we recommend ALL HASTE! But all they have to do is pick a different gearing strategy to solve it

    2) We learn a lot from forum users. Occasionally we come across bugs that haven't been reported on our own forums yet. We always want to find them and fix them asap. We also learn from #1 - if a lot of people have the same misunderstandings of the tool, it probably means we should make something more user-friendly!

Currently, you're logged out in your Arms spec, that's why it's in dps mode.
EDIT: Should've looked at the time the original post was posted. Bleh
