[TV] House will be cancelled

I have no problem with House ending. IMO last season was good, but not as great as the show used to be. This season is kinda meh, but I still watch it cause its one of my fave shows still on TV. I hope it gets a worthy finale.

I absolutely adored this show way back in the day during the first few seasons... but after they kept on more or less replacing the main doctors, I just couldn't take it anymore. Not to mention that every episode is almost exactly the same:

1) Do a blood test, find what's wrong, treat it.
2) Treatment was wrong, patient's organs explode.
3) Try to fix what went wrong, search for new treatment.
4) Patient is about to die, only 10 minutes left in the episode.
5) House has an epiphany with not a moment to spare and patient lives.

This, sort of boring, but still the best show I've ever seen.

With Chase walking around crippled and breaking a few rules in this episode...Chase taking over, getting his own spin-off show and being the new version of House doesn't sound so crazy...lol.

I've watched this show since the pilot aired on Fox. I absolutely loved the show (I still do). But the show's formula, and even House himself, have gotten kind of played out and old. I'm still in disbelief that it's been 8 years though.

It's not really getting cancelled. It's ending, there's a difference. Last season was supposed to be the last one and they forced this one through just for the money House makes the network. Just like they did with Scrubs, kept forcing it through even though it should have been ended.
Too many people complain about this season, if you don't like it, don't watch it, quit bitching about it. It's actually entertaining, and definitely worth a watch. All seasons have been, and every episode has been. Just because it's slightly different than the previous doesn't make it bad. You guys probably started bitching at season 4 when that premiered too, afraid of change.

It's really not that unexpected, and frankly the show is/was due to end imo. There are only so many times House can get an epiphany (almost each episode) before it just ends up really predictable.

The show has dared to do some quite brilliant episodes however and it has been a very great time to watch most of the time. Just hope Hugh Laurie gets into another great show though.

I think the show can end in one of two ways, either house dies somehow, or the final scene has to be house walking away from wilson and wilson realizing that after 8 years of TV show, nothing has changed and house is the same house he was at the start of the show.

Yea with the passing of the original doctors (Cameron, Cuddy, 13, ect) its lost its appeal to me. I'll still watch it because I never have enough shows to watch on my second monitor while I play, but I suspect it will be the last season.

I didn't know that coming in in the 4th season means that you're one of the original doctors. (Thirteen.)

One of my favorite series. I'll be sad to see it go but I'd rather have it end than have it completely ruined.
