Resto Sham solo heal H Ultraxion?

As the question asks, is it possible for a restoration shaman to solo heal this encounter. I am aware that Holy Paladins have been capable of solo healing this but I would like to get some thoughts upon this.

If you got good dps and full HC gear then maybe it's possible

with the nerf its possible. my altraid killed ultraxion after 4:40 min in heroic (2 tanks 2 heal) and incoming damage was pretty low. maybe give it a try and see what happens

Yes, but you need exceptionally good DPS. Both of those logs are <4:30 kills, with DPS pulling 40k.
Diplomacy is just war by other means.

    Definitely possible

We even had 2 dps dying there, 1 even twice, to fading light, so yes, you can do it.

Yes , you can do it, i dont recomend you to tho, when the blue buff comes its a piece of cake if you have spirit link up and volcanic potion can be usefull there also, save your spirit walkers grace to use like 15 seconds before blue cristal comes , i found it totaly possible, but i simply dont have the necessary mana(or skill to maitain mana) to this, i tried but went oom 98% of tries, i had the heals to do it , but couldn't achive the needed eficiency =T will work on it soon. With more gear.

Look at the ranking info...all of the DPS are fine but none got ranked in their class and some are even a good bit away from a ranking.

So I would tend to say exceptional is not required...good is good enough

i would only recomend you one healing this if you have a realy realy competent shaman, and you are wiping on 5% or less with 2 heals.(bersek i mean)

Well, exceptional in the sense that if you're progressing, solo-healing to meet the enrage timer isn't going to help you. Everyone will need to be at around 37k or higher.

Actually , solo healing this as a resto shaman is totally viable , you have a mastery that heals for more the lower your health percentage is , you can keep your mana topped using early telluric currents over your early healing rain use. Once you get the red buff to turbo charge , you get into a nice comfy bubble untill green spawns , which i ignore and ramp up some hard healing as the damage increases . Get your dps to pop some supporting cooldowns , tranquility raid wall devine hymn etc etc.
while you move to get your blue for insane chain heal spamm bounce off the tank with earthshield , while FI shock maintained healing rains .

If you check the timestamp this is pre-nerf and we aren't some uber amazing top end guild just a small group of freinds doing 10's in normals gear
ultraxi was our 2nd hc boss kill i did have 4 set , and i would say this is pretty much a requirement for the extra throughput cooldown from SWG

It is stressfull , very much so after our kill i remember flopping down in my chair pretty knackered, we only started attempting it when we were having trouble healing the double damage phase " sub 8% " with a resto /boomkin who's hots werent quite as effective at topping people , from what started as an act of desperation turned out to be a very viable tactic.
