Cho’Gall: Cairne Bloodhoof is dead? Did we kill him?
Deathwing: No. The Grimtotems weakened him with poison, and then Garrosh accidentally hacked him to death with an axe during a heated political discussion.
Cho’Gall: How do you accidentally kill someone with an axe?
I am thinking of others. The people in my guild. Im just not thinking about you. It seems you are the one being selfish and feeling others should be out to help you along
Edit: fixed your post to include my full statement. I was saying guild > strangers, bolding the important part because you have problems comprehending longer sentences. Also i find it odd that you are appalled and horrified over a video game.

You just said it. You are thinking of yourself, and by a very lesser extension, your guild. Not the anonymous people because it's very easy to make them faceless. That makes you a douche.
Doing this is a douche move, end of. Any arguments made to make it look like you aren't one just make you come off even worse.

Because most of the time the person who won the loot doesn't even "need" it
As I stated in the original post, I "used" to be nice and give stuff that I couldn't trade to FIRST help myself to a person of my choice, since it is MINE. The community forced me to not be NICE and give MY PIECE away by never ever ever giving me a piece and i got maybe 3 thank yous out of the 20 someodd piece i have given away on my ten toons, so yeah you can be foolish and not win on stuff to trade or give it away to some person that would stab you in your neck for a 384 ring....I'll continue to be selfish with 4pc on 6 of my toons , you sound mad.
I ask people that has better pieces if I can have it instead. What's wrong with asking? It's not like I'll cry if they want to keep it and I respect a no.
With all the greedy people just like OP in LFR, I can see why people ask if they can have the items...
No one ever forced you to give away that LFR loot. You're the one that's mad just from whispers from people asking if they can have the piece you won. If you don't want to trade it, you say no and move on.

I find it rather sad that people feel the need to grab everything, whether it be for de mats, or simply because they can.
Me too, I would be more than happy to follow the ethical need or greed. problem is, NO ONE DOES, and I would be a fool if I didn't try to better myself instead of letting other people win it that also have it so they can trade....these people probably do it for my same reason, because everyone does, if you don't YOU are the fool.
seems to me some people need to get out more and socialise a bit..... its only loot after all, roll on guild wars 2 i say ;o)
I roll need and if I win, I hold on to it for possible trade. If nothing i need drops, I take note of the person who got second in rolls and open trade and pass it over without saying anything if they don't already have it or is an upgrade. Spine trink dropped two weeks in a row, and i was second in rolls both times. If someone wins something I want, I usually scope em out and make sure they dont already have it or they have normal version before I whisper if they can pass it over if they don't have anything else to trade for. My dk got Gurthalak that way and my rogue got Molten footpads after losing both rolls simply by asking. Lfr works like a barter system so for now, you have to play that system.
It sucks, but its the way it is.
I always need on everything in LFR even if i dont need it. If i actualy get the item, i pass it to person that needs it and did best (dps/healing) wise.
Someone /beg me or whispers me for gear. *ignore*

I actually managed to get at least 4 items from LFR on different alts by just asking a person who alraedy had the respective item to give it to me. So far It didn't seem that bad really. Maybe u got unlucky.
Following your example by screwing over people just because you got screwed over once, is not the way to go. It's this way of thinking that's making WoW's community worse than it already is. A bad spiral, really. A Dutch saying is: "Improve the world, start with yourself".
Here's the problem with your self righteous attitude, if people need because they can only to vendor or d/e IF they have contributed to the kill and by that I mean done a decent amount of healer/dps/tanking then they deserve the loot as much as the next person. Imo they deserve it more than some of the afking/auto attacking scrubs that do as little as possible.
I myself don't need stuff to d/e however if I see an afker or piss poor performing raider roll need over people that could use the item more I'll roll and trade it to the next highest roller that deserves it. All that being said IF I start seeing others need rolling to d/e then I will probably just start doing the same after all better in my pocket than his and if everyone starts rolling need on everything then I don't see how anyone can complain.
Damn I'm lucky compared to you guys, I once won 3 tokens in one run. LFR looting will never be fair. If you, or anyone that you queued with needs an item, need it. That's how it's always going to be and I'm not going to be at a disadvantage just to act polite when nobody else is going to do it.
