Post Resto Druid - Tree Form

Hi, I have been playing Resto Druid(OS) for only a few days now (Balance MS) I feel my understanding of Restoration Druid as a whole adequate and improving however I am really unsure how to use Tree of Life as an efficient cooldown/healing boost.

I do understand some people use it to dps as Wrath becomes enhanced however I was wondering how to use it to its maximum capability to achieve hps, I know some moves get buffed and 15% healing increase whilst in the form aswell, But what moves should I use? - I know Regrowth is instant, however also high costing, Lifebloom is buffed nicely but Im not sure what to do with it? - usually I just use it to put on both tanks - If there are 2.

Can a more experienced Restoration Druid please tell me what moves I should use to maximise HPS output whilst in Tree Form, whilst not burning all of your mana if possible

    Thanks,

    Kezuu

Usually when I pop into tree I wild growth and then start spamming lifebloom on everyone. Usually going for 3 stacks on the tanks and 2 on the rest of the raid. I tend to avoid regrowth unless ppl are really low on health then I slap it on them once or twice to get them to full health. If there isn't a lot of damage going out on the party Ill also use it to dps. Pretty much, just keep wild growth going and lifebloom rolling on everyone, and then use rejuv, swiftmend, ect as you would normally.

Simple. You just keep harmony up with regrowth, press WG and SM on cooldown and spam rejuvenation to the raid. Using Lifebloom you won't achieve maximum HPS.

Use tree form in phases of high raid damage. Cataclysm on Deathwing is a perfect example. Spread lifebloom across the entire raid. 1 stack on each person will do. You will get a lot of Clear Casting procs which allow instant and free regrowths. Use regrowth immediately when clearcasting is up, and continue to spam lifebloom across the raid. This will allow you to achieve extremely high HPS while using almost no mana at all.

Don't forget to wildgrowth on cooldown while in tree.

I think the answer is a combo of the two above posters. You should definitely be spamming WG on CD while in ToL because it hits two additional targets, making it even more powerful. Also, keep up harmoney and use SM on CD like others have said.

The decision point comes to what you do the rest of the time, and most people agree its either roll LBs on as many targets as possible, or spam RJ on as many targets as possible. It all comes down to your mana. If your concerned about mana on a fight, then go the rolling LB route as its very mana efficient and will result in frequent OOC procs allowing for mana free RGs.

If you have no mana concerns on a fight, then spamming RJ (while doing the other normal things mentioned above) with the 15% ToL bonus is the highest hps you can acheive.

WG and SM on cooldown. 3 LB on tank then 1 LB on like 5-7 raid members (or as many as you can) just to get a shitload of clearcasts. Use the clearcasts right away by using regrowth on low HP target with 1x LB on them to refresh it too. Nature's bounty is good

    ToL
    - gives 15% healing bonus
    - Lifebloom can be put to multible targets
    - Regrowth is instant cast (Not a throughput gain since Regrowth is a 1.5 cast anyway (aka GCD))
    - Wild Growth targets 2 extra people
    - Efflorescence gets a double benefit from the 15% Tree boost (since the underlying Swiftmend was already boosted)

You can use ToL on 3 purposes:
    1. Healing cooldown
If many people in the raid need healing quickly, shifting to cast instant Regrowths can help hit people who need the most healing immediately. Still use a good amount of Lifebloom when people aren't in danger of death.
    2. Mana cooldown
Because of all the Lifeblooms you use during Tree of Life, you get a lot of Clearcasting procs from Malfurion's Gift, and can turn each one into a free instant Regrowth. Use the Regrowths to refresh Lifeblooms.
    3. DPS cooldown
In fights with short-term burn phases, you can shift to Tree and do a useful amount DPS with Wrath. Do this only if there is no healing need and your mana can handle this.

I have done this pic to help my friend to understand how druid spells work together.
