Herald of the Titans - Bearness

So I have a bear druid I am gearing (Actually, she's pretty much geared now. Just needs a piece or two more.) for the Herald of the Titans achievement and title. I understand bear tanking from reading the forums and guides and in game friends, and I understand the state weights and allocation for the spec.

But my understanding is that of a level 85. My big question is, how does this all shift when given to a level 80 character? What stats, when facing Algalon, are best? I know Stamina was king in Wrath for tanks, but now it's not so, at least at level 85. And I understand things might have shifted from patch 3.3.5 to 4.0.1 and 4.0.3.

    Here is my armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/characte...brook/advanced

She's full Conqueror (minus the helm, but I'm building the JP for that atm), BiS trinkets (from my understanding) BiS staff, the only REAL thing that's missing are my gems and some enchants. I suppose the real reason why I am making this thread is, what do I gem/chant?

I would say stacking AGI would still be king even at 80. Maximize damage and the amount of dodge you can get.

And Blackheart is a freaking amazing trinket for bears.

The other jp trinket with straight armor may also be pretty good as well to mitigate a lot of physical damage.

Algalon dual-wields so, he hits like a truck. Pre-Cata talents, the fight was harder to hit the enrage timer. Post-Cata talents, the fight is harder to keep tanks up. The best tanks for this fight used to be hit capped warriors. I honestly think you'll be alright whether you go AGI or STAM. A lot of top druids are still Stam stacking by the way. Stam is reliable, everything else is a roll of the dice.

As far as I remember we stacked the hell out of Stamina back then - so I'd probably go with that.
Activision Blizzard's press release states that World of Warcraft is still at 10.2 million subscribers as of 3/31/12. This is the same amount of subscribers from Q4 2011.
    Hater tears, they taste sweet.

i would get all the gear and look at the stats then, if you low on hp go stamina, if you low on dodge go agi.
although i think stacking agi would be better because at level 80 you have much butter scaling with cata gems.

What about mastery? Doesn't that scale insanely well at level 80?

I'd say you probably want to put Shifting (agi+stam) gems in red sockets with agi/stam socket bonuses, and stam in the rest. Algalon can do some very nasty burst damage, so having a decent health-buffer is quite handy.
