Heroic zon'ozz tips?

hello, we have been progressing on heroic zon'ozz for around two nights now .....18 attempts..i'm averaging 40k dps untill we die which is about the second black phase.... i was wondering if i should use combustion on the boss or adds to get them down faster and if anyone had any tips for higher dps...we raid 6 hours a week so time is limited and i want to do MOAR dmg......

assuming 25man:

- never combustion adds(they should die in seconds if you are ranged are switching properly)
- mouseover Living bomb macro is magic, but always keep the 3rd Living bomb on the boss
- depending on your ranged, you can figure how long it takes for which add to die(and I don't mean just type, but also exactly which, eg in our group the 2 flails and 2 eyes die in like 4-5 seconds, so no point in doing LB on them; however the last 2 eyes last for almost a full LB)
- shit is supposed to die fast in black phases, make sure you dont waste HS/FBs - I have had tons of HS flying to a mob that dies before they land, sad
- if you want rank - tunnelvision boss without swapping - but since you are on progression I'd suggest following instructions and doing adds.
- positioning is key - your ranged camp should be in range of 2 flails, 1 big tentacle and 2 eyes without moving.
- as there is craptons of movement and RNG is gay, sometimes you might actually lose your 2pc bonus. so id suggest keeping AB bound to some key somewhere for that situation. it has happened to me in like one raid of 50, but its a bitch when it happens(also means it fucks up your combustion cd, yada yada).

aye we are 10 man guild ......im going to try out mouseover living bomb today see if that will shave some time off of getting pyromaniac up..

40k dps is pretty descent imo dont listen to peoples advice like "OMG I PULL 50k+ dps" because they areprob tunnel visioning boss and not killing the adds

you might even consider going arcane here if you need help with eyes geting killed asap(really depends how many ranged you have in your setup)
