Feral PVPers - what do you think of the proposed new talents?

LINK to the new talent calculator: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/game/mis...lator#U!110022

I'm somewhat happy about being almost able to recreate the "old-school" feral pvp machine, but not looking forward at all to continuing to have to deal with all the in-my-minority-opinion superfluous extraneous bullcrap homogenizing abilities that we've been dealt since the whole "let's give everyone everything as a baseline ability" thing started. My ideal feral pvp model is balanced around mobility and damage dealing and creating space and re-stealths and some hybrid caster or Bear stuff (early TBC era), not around instant-cast CC and a crapton of extra abilities. I.e., less homogenized abilities and harder-hitting but fewer old stuff abilities + mobility.

But that's just me and my opinion. Feel free to share yours. Maybe I should just stick to level 60 PVP in the future. But Hellfire Peninsula gets a bit boring after a while.

    Me Personally
Disperser Beast is a sweet talent, but i will still chose Feral Swiftness. Typhoon to act as an interupter, and Ursols Vortex is just too awsome, Charge on a mage afer blink use Ursols Vortex, trap him in melee and own him, eveythting else is fine.

Having to choose between displacer beast and feral swiftness is supersadface.

Other than that I like it!

Also if you can use berserk+incarnation at the same time, and have 25 second half-price ravage spam, I can't imagine how that won't be so OP the world ends.
    loljk

Displacer beast looks pretty cool untill "Random Direction"... no thank you. In arenas positioning is way too important to leave up to RNG, Feline Swiftness all the way.
As far as the 2nd teir. Renewal looks pretty cool, but were going to have to see how much Cenarion ward acutally heals for compared to our health pools when its live. (remember they are talking about rescaling everything) Might turn out to be a psudo recoup combined with the heal from Disentanglement

Any sights people recommend to relearn feral druids after taking a few month break? Thanks in advance =]

I love the hybrid playstyle in PvE, but not so much in PvP to be quite honest. Don't really like going out of form to CC or heal. Just as a pain in the ass type that sticks to one target and is very hard to peel. So the ones that I would definitely take are Feline Swiftness, Disentanglement and Wild Charge. I will have to wait to see how the other tiers will fare first before deciding which ones to go for. Maybe Ursol's Vortex as another gap closer but not sure how it'll perform. Probably Faerie Swarm too for something that familiar to what we have at the moment but doesn't sound as interesting as Typhoon or Mass entanglement.

Maybe if they can make Berserk breaks fear (not immunity) then it'll be great as well. I don't care if they nerf our damage or peels a little bit. I just want to be the opponent that won't leave the enemies' sides.

Check out the stickies of the Druid forum on this site. There's a link to the pvp guide in the Useful/Helpful sticky as well.

Displacer beast is not a full vanish, it only says it provides stealth for 10 seconds, not that it lets you reenter prowl. Just an observation, I'll be taking feral swiftness.

On lvl 87 u learn skill named Symbiosis - creates a symbiotic link which grants the druid one ability belonging to the target's class, varying by the druid's specialization. In exchange, grants the target one druid ability based on their class and combat role. Lasts 1 hour and persists through death".
Is that gonna work like DKs Dark Simulacrum ? If yes that great Can't wait to cast pyroblast back lol
I read somewhere that their periods attract bears. ... You hear that, Ed? BEARS! Now you are putting the whole station in jeopardy

pretty sure it will just give you another class' skill according to your and their spec, mellee for mellee, caster for caster, healer for healer, a permanent 1 hour ability you can spam/use.

new updated MoP talents now clearly show that Activating Disperser beast activates cat form and prowl same time, so it is a vanish

Feline Swiftness nerfed 15% now, lets hope this isnt permanent

You get +15% baseline for being a cat So it should even out some. I'm not happy about having to choose between Charge and swiftness.

Yeah i missed that, wasnt updated they just updated it
Cat Form now also increases autoattack damage by 100% and increases movement speed by 15%

EDIT: overall changes are not too bad, what i hate the most is that SR is back to 30% dmg, oh how i hated it that way.

You realise his build was from before mighty bash got implemented on the calc?

I personally won't go for either vortex or charge; Disorienting Roar as a CC, would be too good to pass up. It combined with other abilities would make people think twice about attacking.
I'll also enjoy typhooning people out of stealth in eots/ab :3
