Need help with boomkin DPS based on # of targets

This one has been a little tricky for me - deciding what will do best DPS based on how many targets are present.

1 Target - typical rotation, keep dots up, use proper spell with eclipse.
2 Targets - dot both targets, use proper spell with eclipse on one.
3 Targets - Same?
4 Targets - Wild Mushroom x3 detonate, dot 2 targets, Wild Mushroom x3 detonate, dot other 2?
5+ Targets - Same? At what point should I skip dots and just use hurricane during my detonate cooldown?

Or do I have it all wrong?

Anytime there's 3+ targets u wanna idle in solar and use shrooms.

Shroom detonate, sun fire everything, then plant 3 shrooms and detonate em when it's off cd (if you have time insect swarm a few). After you shroomed for the second time, insect swarm anything that doesn't have it up. Then rinse and repeat. Shrooms >sun fire> insect swarm. If your dots are all up and shrooms are on cd, just spam sun fire. The only time you ever want to use hurricane is when the adds are gonna die before you have a chance to shroom a second time in which case shroom, sunfire everything, typhoon and hurricane.

3+, huh? Seems relatively simple.

I figured hurricane was mostly worthless, but I wasn't sure how much use it actually had.

Yeah there's only a few times in DS where it's worth it. Yorsahj black adds and Madness Regnerative Bloods come to mind.

The only tricky part to solar cleaving is just keeping a hundred percent uptime on sunfire while using shrooms on cd (insect swarm is just used where you can fit it in). Just go on the dummies and practice it, and you'll have it down pretty quickly.
