Yes, I do believe that it would make the most sense that Sylvanas should die. With all the atrocities that she's been committing, including disobeying the Warchief, kidnapping members of the Ebon Blade and plaguing land cleansed by the Argent Crusade, someone is bound to want her dead.

For the record, I like Sylvanas. I enjoy the fact that there is an evil/flawed character, just as I like Garrosh for a similar reason. I am not in agreement with anyone believing they should be replaced merely because they're not perfect.

    2) This is on-topic. I'd like to see Sylvanas stay in charge, she's one of my favorite Warcraft characters because she makes no bones about what she's doing. She's conquering Lordaeron for the Forsaken, everyone else can go hang. She doesn't try to gussy her goals up in hypocritical virtues that she then never shows like the Warchief does, and she always opts for the path of fewest casualties (for her). If she must change, then yes, by all means, redeem her and portray her like the other Forsaken--many of them have a rather wry sense of humor and in some cases, act rather heroic, throwing you to safety and the like. But Sylvanas has the same problem Cairne had--she's been in charge for 12 years in real-world time, and nobody else among her race/faction has been given enough characterization to make for a viable candidate for succession. Cairne lucked out in that he had an heir, for Sylvanas, she is the Forsaken. They gather around her as the largest force of free-willed undead, and with the Forsaken, they've got a real crack at a second life thanks to her. She's pulled off so much that any replacement would just feel flat and uninspiring by comparison.
I couldn't agree more. She does show a sort of gentle side especially when we bring her that necklace from Ghostlands. I believe she is the strongest leader that the forsaken can have.

If sylvanas died that wouldn't be fair because the horde has undertaken so much change and yet the alliance doesn't have different leaders like the horde got

Shes actually one of my favoirte leaders becuase she is out for herself, and has a loyal following behind her. Its an army, and its her army ....
+ Dont kill off the female leaders, her and jaina are BADASS and need to stick around to be the heroines of either faction. + her and garrosh do make a good team even though they hate each other.

Give her a redemption. Blizzard needs to stop killing off bad people just becuase they are bad. I love the lore on the Forsaken, and Sylvanas of all people deserves a second chance. I would have thought for such Arthas was going to somewhat make up for what he did. but no

Sylvanas has always been, and will always be, my Dark Lady. When the Forsaken were "reborn" out of the darkness, she was there to watch over us and keep us free. When we asked for a leader, she guided us. When we burned for vengeance, she led the charge. The Forsaken are hers, to the bitter end. Now that she is falling into madness, we will march into the maw of oblivion with her without looking back. For the Dark Lady!

    Sylvanas should not die.

She is the Forsaken God at this point, you do not have the Forsaken without Sylvanas. She is also one of the few (and I mean few) relevant female characters, and one of the very few dynamic really interesting ones. You get to see that Sylvanas has so many different aspects to her, she has this dominating "I am Sylvanas, hear me and tremble" side that she puts on, but there is also here cunning coniving side, her emotional side, her diplomatic side, etc. Hell, the second most complex characters tend to only have two sides. Garrosh? Honourable and VERY inexperianced. Varian? Wants to be a good King, No emotional control. They have a positive and a negative and stop there.
What would Warchief Garrosh do if he appeared right now?

    Sylvanas is great. <3

She seems more realistic than a lot of the other leaders.

The guy didn't insult anyone. His post was entirely on topic and provided new insights. The only thing you could see as insulting was the panda remark, which had entirely nothing to do with the point about Sylvanas he made and was still very mild. So stop blowing things out of proportions.

In fact, he made a very good point. Sylvanas and the free-willed undead in general have been described as a changed people. They are not the same people they were in life. Undeath is a torture that twists the mind. With that in mind, I love how Sylvanas tends to be unpredictable when it comes to her motives and love for her people. Time will tell what she's really going to do, but I'm afraid she wouldn't just stop once she'd have reclaimed Lordaeron.

I wish they killed and replaced every single char. That way I wouldnt have to see stupid cutscenes in the game.

I would LOVE! to see her redeemed, however i dont think she can leave undeath or the forsaken behind.

It might be cool for her to temporarily come back into life to see her sisters, but then be pulled back into death by a greater force.

Sylvanas die? Again? This would only be the... what, fourth time?

Anyway, if blizzard were to ignore the sylvanas fanboys and actually have her die for GOOD, it'd make the most sense... "poetic justice"-wise to have her be killed by Greymane. She kills his son, tortures his people and rapes his land. I could definitely see Genn striking her down... though knowing Blizzard, they'd likely have her cut off his arm or mortally wound him in the process.

I've always wondered after the shattering of frostmourne, that somehow sylvanas could be 'revived' or something, and join the blood-elves. Thoughts?

Both Garrosh and Sylvanas are great leaders.

There's a saying that applies here.

"People who work a lot make a lot of mistakes. People who work less make fewer mistakes. There are even some people who don't make any mistakes."

It's just because they're so dedicated that they have more "oops"-moments than the other characters who are just ... not doing anything. Thrall, Vol'jin and Cairne should've been sitting in their retirement homes ages ago already. Luckily both Thrall and Cairne are already out of the picture. Just that emo of a Vol'"boohoo the Warchief was angry at me"jin to get rid off. The Blood Elves are in dire need of a new King or Queen as well.

Nonetheless I do see Sylvanas as a rogue element. But as long as she does all her plague and death-murder-&-torture stuff over there on the Eastern Kingdom and not in Kalimdor, all is fine for the Horde.
"Garrosh' skills as a Warchief are epic. His achievements are legendary among the Horde."

Garrosh should have her executed, I'm tired of her corny goth style, I would rather have a proper leader for The Forsaken, and seeing as Garrosh already hates her it would be perfect to have a public execution.
