Hello all, I am on a quest to find a horror film that is actually scary. I want to know that I'm not desensitized to horror movies nowadays. I've been watching quite a few movies recently, including the "scariest movie ever!" Paranormal Activity series...lets just say I laughed at almost all the "scares." I'm not going to list all of the horror films I've seen, because that would be quite a list...but some of the more recent have been: [Rec]/[Rec2] (awesome movies, but not really scary), The Ring series, a few of the Friday the 13th films, Nightmare on Elm Street, the Host, and many, many more. So, throw me your best MMO-Champion legion, scare me! I want to feel my heart racing, I want to feel it in my throat! Show me that movies can still be scary!
Thanks!

and thanks for the recommendations also. And another point was brought up here: "Scary" movies now are about gore...I don't really find that scary, especially since it's just horribly unrealistic most of the time. I also have to agree with Saw, the original was pretty great.
